This project is a solar shading system designed for the dormitory building of the University of Auckland in New Zealand. The project adopts a flat grille with a certain degree of permeability, which can effectively control the sunlight irradiation rate. At the same time, it also has a certain degree of air permeability, which can more effectively ensure indoor ventilation and the overall aesthetics of the building.
